On Taylor Zakhar Perez, Nicholas Galitzine and the Red, White and Royal Blue Cakegate Saga

If you are homophobic, it is better you stop reading at this point. Thank you! Lol.

It isn’t news that Prime’s new movie, Red White and Royal Blue movie, is currently making waves, bringing smiles to lovers’ faces and making people believe in love again – especially gay love.

Arguably, we can say that the reason the movie caught that much fire and is currently the most watched movie on Prime, is because the book, which was written by Casey McQuiston by the way, was a huge sensation when it was published.

I read the book (after I saw the movie first) and I also enjoyed every single bit of it. I didn’t want the story to end.

Of course, the story of two male prominent public figures who fell in love despite tradition and distance, is a beautiful one to share and experience on the leaves of a book.

But the actual reasons why a lot of fans (especially me) are rewatching the movie again and again, creating different versions of edits for the movie and requesting for a sequel, the uncut 3 hour version of the movie, BTS, interviews and every visual that has to do with the movie Red, White and Royal Blue, are the two lead actors!!!

Before we go on, please light it up for Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine –Hollywood’s newest heartthrobs!!

If you don’t know Taylor, you might want to see him The Kissing Booth 2 and 3 and 1Up. For Nicholas, he is the charming lead of the latest Cinderella (the one with Camila Cabello), Purple Hearts and Handsome Devil.

Taylor is your hot Spanish bloke who would make you want to wear a bikini and sip Coquito on an island, while you listen to Spanish songs playing away into the sunset.

On the other hand, Nicholas is the ‘Swooniest’ London Boy that you wouldn’t mind travelling over the Atlantic Ocean for! Damn!! That man is worth it!

Now, having both of them taking lead roles in this movie just brought everything to a crescendo for everyone.

Hold on! These hot thangs didn’t make us fall in love with just their looks. They reeled us in with their impeccable acting and of course, the chemistry!

The chemistry was rooftops electric. It would make you crave to be in the room with them. You just want to experience what they were experiencing in each scene that they appeared.

This is to largely debunk the initial feelings that the public had when they heard that the duo of Nicholas and Taylor were the ones playing the lead roles of Prince Henry Fox and The FSOTUS Alex Gabriel-Diaz respectively.

But we can say for certain now that those feelings are not valid as we have all seen that they both ate their roles and left no crumbs!

Words on everyone’s lips is that they are the perfect cast for this movie. Their chemistry was off the chat, IT WAS IMPRESSIVE THAT WE ARE SCREAMING FOR A SEQUEL AND EVERYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH PRINCE HENRY AND ALEX.

There have been so many LGBTQ movies before this and there would be others after this, but for now, as we speak, Red, White and Royal Blue is that PURRFECT LGBTQ movie for all of us.

It is the movie that we want to rewatch again and again, because Taylor and Nicholas gave us a freaking show that is having us glued to our screens for a long time!

Sista Movie Review

The opening scene did me in. I read somewhere that the first few 5 minutes of a movie determines if it is worth it.  Trust me, Sista movie hooked me in less than 5 minutes. I loved the straight to the point opening. No show of the Third Mainland Bridge. No lazy show of Lagos traffic. Nothing. Also, the past/present sequence made crazy sense.  Seeing Kehinde Bankole in that role is refreshing, it's not what she is used to, but she did well. Chimezie was quite not in character, or maybe he didn't bond with Ade Herself. I don't know. He is better than what I saw him act here. As usual Aunty Ronke Oshodi Oke gave it her all. This Tope Owokoniran babe tried with her Hausa accent. I love it!!! I think this is the best of her I have seen so far. I'd say this is a movie Aunty Biodun Stephen put her everything to make. This is a beautiful work of art. I love every piece of it. The story line is dope. Directing is flawless. The fun part was that even though It was predictable f...

Ijakumo Movie Review

Whatever this movie was set to give, it didn't give.  Even the stripping is not giving. Why is the Sharon girl sex talking like she is doing spoken words???  I liked the babe in "Listening Ears", but I feel she is not 'mature' enough theatrically for this role. Wait, what I noticed was that Toyin and her crew didn't know there was a girl who looks like the Sharon girl in his church. A very crazy error that no director should make. If they had come in with this, maybe the finding out they were twin bla BLA BLA suspense would suspense well. But as the director or script writer were very myopic, the twin shii didn't hold water. If they had said or showed that they picked the Ugandan girl because she looked like the Nigerian girl in his church, e for make perfect sense. Seriously, I am miffed. The only thing that thrilled me was Kunle Remi and his lines. O mard gan. 🤣🤣🤣 "Emi mimo ni kin gbenu sohun". 🤣🤣🤣 "So, idi Uganda lo Fe baye mi j...

The Black Book Movie Review

Chaos is what you get when you try to film movies like Hollywood without doing your homework well.  That kidnapping scene is one of the most chaotic and unorganized crime scenes ever. Like WTH!! Moving on, we have RMD and Olumide bonding that didn't give the vibes they were gunning for. Then the scene where Sam Dede called Bimbo Akintola on the phone asking who he should kill. Please what's the job of the two police men that were present at the scene? What's their work? Are they aesthetics? I expected them to go close to her immediately they realized she was communicating with the kidnappers. No, they stood like they were visitors checking family album. Mchew. It was after the conversation has ended that the soldier guy came to stand in front of her - like a mannequin.  Another thing, choice of soundtrack was shitty. What's "omo mi Seun rere" doing in that beach scene. I am rolling my eyes. All those half half conversations that were flying up and down, na r...
