Brothers Nabbed In Lagos For Producing Fake Naira Notes

Hope Ihesiaba and his brother, Ifeanyi, have been arrested by the men of the Nigerian police for their alleged involvement in production of fake Naira notes and a syndicate.

According to reports, the Ihesiaba brothers, who are members of a syndicate that produces fake Naira notes, were nabbed on Oluwakemi Street, in the Ojodu Abiodun area of Lagos State.

It was further reported that the suspects were arrested by the Isheri Police Division on Saturday, May 28, 2016 after the police were tipped-off by a trader who alleged that the suspects spent fake N1,000 notes at her store and the operatives swung in on them.

80 pieces of fake N1,000 notes - amounting to N80,000- two laptops, a sledge hammer and a cutlass were said to have been recovered from the suspects’ house after a search was conducted before their arrest.

However, Hope Ihesiaba denied producing fake Naira notes saying, it was his friend, Odiyi, in Aba, Abia State who was involved in such illicit act.

The 33-year-old suspect said, “I do not produce fake naira notes. I have a friend who does that. His name is Odiyi, and he sells in a market in Aba."

Continuing, he said, 'I gave him N28,000 real money and he gave me the N80,000 fake naira notes. I knew the money was fake; but I did it to help myself. I gave my brother parts of the money. He in turn gave some to two of his friends. I am not married. I just needed money and I was tempted to collect the notes.'

Meanwhile, the police had reportedly launched a manhunt for Odiyi, the Aba trader, who is alleged to have been producing the fake notes.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, confirmed the arrest saying investigation is currently ongoing.

Sista Movie Review

The opening scene did me in. I read somewhere that the first few 5 minutes of a movie determines if it is worth it.  Trust me, Sista movie hooked me in less than 5 minutes. I loved the straight to the point opening. No show of the Third Mainland Bridge. No lazy show of Lagos traffic. Nothing. Also, the past/present sequence made crazy sense.  Seeing Kehinde Bankole in that role is refreshing, it's not what she is used to, but she did well. Chimezie was quite not in character, or maybe he didn't bond with Ade Herself. I don't know. He is better than what I saw him act here. As usual Aunty Ronke Oshodi Oke gave it her all. This Tope Owokoniran babe tried with her Hausa accent. I love it!!! I think this is the best of her I have seen so far. I'd say this is a movie Aunty Biodun Stephen put her everything to make. This is a beautiful work of art. I love every piece of it. The story line is dope. Directing is flawless. The fun part was that even though It was predictable f...

Ijakumo Movie Review

Whatever this movie was set to give, it didn't give.  Even the stripping is not giving. Why is the Sharon girl sex talking like she is doing spoken words???  I liked the babe in "Listening Ears", but I feel she is not 'mature' enough theatrically for this role. Wait, what I noticed was that Toyin and her crew didn't know there was a girl who looks like the Sharon girl in his church. A very crazy error that no director should make. If they had come in with this, maybe the finding out they were twin bla BLA BLA suspense would suspense well. But as the director or script writer were very myopic, the twin shii didn't hold water. If they had said or showed that they picked the Ugandan girl because she looked like the Nigerian girl in his church, e for make perfect sense. Seriously, I am miffed. The only thing that thrilled me was Kunle Remi and his lines. O mard gan. 🤣🤣🤣 "Emi mimo ni kin gbenu sohun". 🤣🤣🤣 "So, idi Uganda lo Fe baye mi j...

FLAWS AND DENTS (Fiction)

FLAWS AND DENTS "Will you marry me? " he asked,  on a bent knee, a wide grin spread across his mouth. Fiona stopped sipping her margarita, her hand stuck on her straw as I gaze at him in shock. He gazed back at her , waiting earnestly for her response. She bent her head as tears welled up in her eyes. One, two they dropped and before she knew it,  the floodgates opened. Her shoulders shook as the tears came cascading down her face. He quickly stood from where he knelt and rushed to her side. "Honey,  why the tears?  Talk to me,  why are you crying?  You know you can talk to me about anything?  What did I do wrong? " He begged as he held her face and tried to wipe her face with his handkerchief. "Baby.... " She started as another bout of tears took over her. "Honey,  these tears are killing me.  I can't stand seeing you like this anymore. Please talk to me,  I beg of you. " She tried to steady her whirling emotions as ...
