Mohammed Sani Idiagbon Resigns - Sexual Harassment Suspect

Dr Mohammed Sani Idiagbon , who was the Head of Department of the University of Ilorin, has reportedly resigned from office after an audio where he was asking for sexual favors from one of his students named Faith , leaked online .

According to Sahara Reporters , who leaked the audio last week , Faith is a 200 level student of his department who had gone to him regarding her score for a continuous assessment test he set for her class sometime ago .

In the audio , Dr Idiagbon could be heard telling Faith to allow him touch her breast . Faith then told him that her breast is paining her because she was having her menstrual cycle . She also told him that the office was not conducive for such act .

The lecturer then told Faith to lock the office door so they could have privacy which she did but still resisted his advances .

Angered by her reluctance, Dr. Idiagbon told her she is not the only one and so she should not feel so special and eventually told her to leave the office and not return .

Reacting to the incident, the University ’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Kunle Akogun, confirmed the incident to Sahara Reporters , saying Dr .
Idiagbon has resigned after he was suspended and removed as the head of the English department . He also refused to honor an invitation of the Staff Disciplinary Committee , choosing instead to resign .

Akogun further stated that the university is investigating the matter and will ensure that the lecturer is duly punished if found guilty of the allegations against him .

In his words ,
“ The university frowns against sexual harassment or any other harassment at that . The university is making necessary investigation and once we are done , the culprit will be brought to book . ”

The sub -dean of school ’s student affairs , Dr. Yussuf , said the case was reported to the Students ’ Support Centre shortly after the Easter break in April.

"Any Office Holder Coming Into Office To Loot Money is Mad" - VP Osinbajo

Vice President President Yemi Osinbajo says that it is madness for people in positions like President Buhari and himself to come into office and look for money to loot. A statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande , quotes Osinbajo as saying this while receiving a delegation of Christian Ministers Welfare Initiative also known as the Pastors ’ Forum , Taraba State , at the Presidential Villa , Abuja yesterday. “ This morning, I had a meeting with the President and he repeated to me twice, he said ‘ at my age , there is only one thing I am looking for , I want to see a great Nigeria . ’ He has no other objective and I feel very inspired by that . It is madness for anybody in our position to be looking for money. According to him , God put people in a position of authority for them to be able to do something for their people. I think if any Nigerian gets the chance to be President of the country , there is nothing he / she is looking for anymor...

THE WILDFLOWER MOVIE REVIEW.

Think of The Wait and how it made you feel. How it brought things you have ever seen, heard of or experienced right to you, that is exactly how you would feel with this movie.  This is a movie that is a must watch if you are a mother, an elder sister, if you are connected to a female one way or the other, this movie is for you. Trust Aunty Biodun Stephen to always give you real life and realistic themes and plots. Hence the plot of this movie is so close to home that I could remember some scenarios. But the movie was dragged at so many points. If you are looking for a movie that would kick you in the punch at once, this is not that movie. This is the movie that you have take your time to go through the prolonged actions and scenes, which was caused by some actors, who unfortunately were key players. Anyway, overall, I'd give it an 8/10. Plot is cool. Directing is cool. Delivery wasn't perfect for a lot to cast, even the top ones. Everyone was just at their relaxed mood, whic...

Sista Movie Review

The opening scene did me in. I read somewhere that the first few 5 minutes of a movie determines if it is worth it.  Trust me, Sista movie hooked me in less than 5 minutes. I loved the straight to the point opening. No show of the Third Mainland Bridge. No lazy show of Lagos traffic. Nothing. Also, the past/present sequence made crazy sense.  Seeing Kehinde Bankole in that role is refreshing, it's not what she is used to, but she did well. Chimezie was quite not in character, or maybe he didn't bond with Ade Herself. I don't know. He is better than what I saw him act here. As usual Aunty Ronke Oshodi Oke gave it her all. This Tope Owokoniran babe tried with her Hausa accent. I love it!!! I think this is the best of her I have seen so far. I'd say this is a movie Aunty Biodun Stephen put her everything to make. This is a beautiful work of art. I love every piece of it. The story line is dope. Directing is flawless. The fun part was that even though It was predictable f...
