Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has criticized President Muhammadu Buhari after he was blocked from greeting the president during a dinner held on Monday, May 30, 2016.

According to Murray-Bruce, he was stopped from greeting the president by an official of the Department of State Services (DSS).
“I was at the presidential villa today.
Went to the President’s table. DSS would not allow me greet him but let another Senator greet him,” Murray-Bruce said via Facebook.
“I have nothing against the President, however, nobody is too important to be criticised and my mouth will never be silenced,” he added.
