Obara'm Movie Review

 

I don't know if it's me, but everything just looked off at the beginning.

Of course, I have a problem with Nancy playing a singing role, not with that her voice.

It's high time Nollywood stop doing this "oh, let's cast so and so in this role because they will look good on screen".

If it is a singing part, give it to a singing actress. Jeez. She was just bleating in my ears.

Then the party scene, Everything just dey disorganized. 

And what in the Bollywood is that choreographed dance in a club?

This singing of lines is novel to Nollywood, and I understand but wo, the thing didn't enter ooo.

What is that church scene? Jesus Christ! Light goes off, they run to put on the generator, the little girl start singing... What's the WOW element there??

At the burial, did they teach Nancy the song abi na their church song? Mchew.

The choreography in this movie is not choreographying. 

Miss me with all the song stuff. Asides that, maybe the movie would have been great, for me.

I am not impressed. It just looked like an hurriedly prepared meal. 

I waited and waited for the wow moments of the movie but couldn't find any.

I give it a 4/10

It is mildly recommended.
