EFCC Kicks Against Bail For Agbele, Files appeal.

THE Economic and Financial Crime COMMISSION, EFCC, has said it will immediately appeal the ruling of a Federal Capital Territory High Court that granted bail to an ally of the Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Ayo Fayose on Thursday.

The ally, Abiodun Agbele is being investigated by the EFFC for a range of alleged criminal infractions bordering on fraud and money laundering.

Justice Olukayode Adeniyi in a ruling which the Commission described as “shocking”, offered bail to Agbele and ordered the EFCC to pay the suspect N5 million as compensation for unlawful detention.

Adeniyi said the failure of the EFCC to charge Agbele to court, since his arrest on June 27, amounted to an abuse of his fundamental rights.

But the Commission described Justice Adeniyi’s conclusion as “curious” against the background of the information presented to the court, which included the fact that the suspect is being held with valid remand warrants issued by competent courts.

The EFCC, however, said it is filing a motion for a stay of execution of the ruling.

Ijakumo Movie Review

Whatever this movie was set to give, it didn't give. Even the stripping is not giving. Why is the Sharon girl sex talking like she is doing spoken words??? I liked the babe in "Listening Ears", but I feel she is not 'mature' enough theatrically for this role. Wait, what I noticed was that Toyin and her crew didn't know there was a girl who looks like the Sharon girl in his church. A very crazy error that no director should make.
