'Sen. Oluremi Tinubu Should Apologise To Sen. Dino Melaye' - APC Woman Leader

Mrs. Funmilayo Olumodeji, the woman leader of an
All Progressives Congress (APC) group, has said that Senator Oluremi Tinubu should apologise to
Senator Dino Melaye.

Olumodeji said Senator Tinubu did not do the right thing by pointing at Melaye, whatever the matter was.

According to the women leader, “The person to blame for the disagreement is Senator Remi Tinubu. Even though we were not at the meeting where the altercation took place and may not know what led to the disagreement or who started it because it was a closed-door meeting, yet I was well briefed on the development.

“From what I gathered, it was Senator Tinubu in her usual character that started it by hurling insults at Senator Melaye and calling him names. It does not speak well of a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who is serving her second term. “

Olumodeji, who spoke with Punch in an interview, slammed Senator Tinubu, saying she has not spoken up for any cause that has to do with women.

She said “She has clearly deviated from her calling as a representative of the women cause. Where was Remi Tinubu when our girls were being kidnapped, raped, forced into marriage or even killed and thrown into canals?

“Even, the President’s wife had at one time or the other added her voice, but it is not on record that Senator Tinubu had joined in the struggle for the liberation of womanhood. Today, kerosene sells for N200 a litre; we did not hear her uttering a word about this but instead, she has been busy insulting her colleagues and gathering women by spending millions of naira on them to protest on her behalf.”

Sista Movie Review

The opening scene did me in. I read somewhere that the first few 5 minutes of a movie determines if it is worth it.  Trust me, Sista movie hooked me in less than 5 minutes. I loved the straight to the point opening. No show of the Third Mainland Bridge. No lazy show of Lagos traffic. Nothing. Also, the past/present sequence made crazy sense.  Seeing Kehinde Bankole in that role is refreshing, it's not what she is used to, but she did well. Chimezie was quite not in character, or maybe he didn't bond with Ade Herself. I don't know. He is better than what I saw him act here. As usual Aunty Ronke Oshodi Oke gave it her all. This Tope Owokoniran babe tried with her Hausa accent. I love it!!! I think this is the best of her I have seen so far. I'd say this is a movie Aunty Biodun Stephen put her everything to make. This is a beautiful work of art. I love every piece of it. The story line is dope. Directing is flawless. The fun part was that even though It was predictable f...

Ijakumo Movie Review

Whatever this movie was set to give, it didn't give.  Even the stripping is not giving. Why is the Sharon girl sex talking like she is doing spoken words???  I liked the babe in "Listening Ears", but I feel she is not 'mature' enough theatrically for this role. Wait, what I noticed was that Toyin and her crew didn't know there was a girl who looks like the Sharon girl in his church. A very crazy error that no director should make. If they had come in with this, maybe the finding out they were twin bla BLA BLA suspense would suspense well. But as the director or script writer were very myopic, the twin shii didn't hold water. If they had said or showed that they picked the Ugandan girl because she looked like the Nigerian girl in his church, e for make perfect sense. Seriously, I am miffed. The only thing that thrilled me was Kunle Remi and his lines. O mard gan. 🤣🤣🤣 "Emi mimo ni kin gbenu sohun". 🤣🤣🤣 "So, idi Uganda lo Fe baye mi j...

The Black Book Movie Review

Chaos is what you get when you try to film movies like Hollywood without doing your homework well.  That kidnapping scene is one of the most chaotic and unorganized crime scenes ever. Like WTH!! Moving on, we have RMD and Olumide bonding that didn't give the vibes they were gunning for. Then the scene where Sam Dede called Bimbo Akintola on the phone asking who he should kill. Please what's the job of the two police men that were present at the scene? What's their work? Are they aesthetics? I expected them to go close to her immediately they realized she was communicating with the kidnappers. No, they stood like they were visitors checking family album. Mchew. It was after the conversation has ended that the soldier guy came to stand in front of her - like a mannequin.  Another thing, choice of soundtrack was shitty. What's "omo mi Seun rere" doing in that beach scene. I am rolling my eyes. All those half half conversations that were flying up and down, na r...
