A couple accused and charged to court for impersonating former governor of Lagos state and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu have been remanded in prison custody.
Yesterday, July 21, an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court in Lagos remanded Abioye Junaid (41) and his wife, Fausat Junaid (39) for intent to commit fraud.
The couple were also accused of impersonating the Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, Chief Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, the first daughter of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and defrauding two persons of N85 million.
