Breath of Life Movie Review

Omoooorrrr, this movie deserves all the awards in the world, because it is a beautiful work of art. It's beautiful in all ramifications. I don't think I have seen any Nollywood movie well executed like this. Amazing storyline. Beautiful directing and acting. Great suspense and twists. The cast were too notch. Chimezie was amazing as usual. He can not act no wrong in my eyes. Same as Genoveva.  She is a brilliant actress. San Dede? Oh my days! Nzeribe, even with the few scenes nailed his role. This is the best of Adedoyin I have seen. He gave this movie his all, even more than he did in King of Boys. Wole Ojo is exceptional. Eku Edewor produced it and I am in awe. This is amazing. I cried and cried. And cried so more. I give it a 10/10.

No Way Through Movie Review

One of the things I noticed first about this movie was the creativity of the writer.  Very creatively crazy person. He or she has a very wild and wide mind. The twists and turns were really commendable. For one, I loved how both camps made Jolaade their mole. It's crazy. Casting was beautiful. Some acts will and can never do wrong in my eyes. People like Chioma and Chidi. Great acting. Funke was Funke. Nothing new or bad. Just there. Seun is good too but I feel like he didn't do too well here. I love how Ikechukwu has diverted to acting totally. He is Sha trying. Jnr Pope did great too. Acting was great to a commendable extent. Directing was beautiful too. Inkblot dey try when they want to. Story was a masterpiece. I'd give it a 7/10.

Slum King Movie Review

If you remember how I mentioned from the beginning that the series had a lot of errors that just didn't cut it for me. But the episode 10 made up for a whole lot. Although, it had its flaws, it was a beautiful ending for the series. The writer is like mem this is how I write sometimes. Just want to rush to the end where the beauty of the movie is. I love how Maje lost both women. I would have preferred he ended up with Yaga but I don't understand the crave for Kate. I commented on the producer's IG post that we don't need a sequel. It's not necessary. Let all of us rest with this one. But I see her commenting like there'd be a sequel as she left a lot of things and characters open. Characters like Selense and Sapele water. In all, Slum King is just there as a series but I'd pick it over series like Wura. Y'all need to start giving Tobi his flowers. He is too good!!!

Blood Vessel Movie Review

It started beautifully, no doubt about that. The beginning was engaging, howbeit, chaotic, which is understandable. My wahala started with that scene Jidekene and his people threw that litted bottle. I expected a boom of fire.  I didn't get that. Then they now showed fire burning people. And I am like 🙄🙄🙄🙄 For someone who served in Bayelsa state, I can't speak one word of it. But I enjoyed how the non- South South cast spoke the Ijaw language well. They got the accent and all. So how did Bimbo Manuel know that the guy that he was looking for was going to be at the market buying something? It didn't make sense. The guy sef spent years picking money on the floor  How in God's name did that shop start moving? How?  Why is Jidekene still with his igbo accent? What is Nna doing in his vocabulary? Y'all don't work with these actors to learn and unlearn.  That Oyin epistle about the python God is crap. Having another action going on at the same time just ruined t

ÌGÈ - The Unlikely Oil Merchant.

Not your perfect movie. But still entertaining.  I think it would have botched if it wasn't a true life story.  And the fact that it was a true life story really didn't give it that flair that it should have. Don't be excited. Don't have expectations. Just watch for watching sakes. PS: The Yoruba language is beautiful.

Madam Koi Koi Movie Review

I just finished seeing the first episode of this movie, and by Jove, I am going to watch it till the last scene. I am thrilled. I am impressed. In fact, super impressed. The fact that it wasn't directed or produced by your usual A list movie people says a lot about this movie.  The producer is obviously concerned with making a real movie, telling a story in the most enjoyable way, and not about making Numbers or making money. Except for when Inspector Oscar used the 2023 trending slang "if you don't get it, forget about it" in a 1991-set movie, I found no faults with the movie, yet. As someone who attended a boarding school, I could relate with a lot of things happening in the movie. In fact, the director did a good job, not by only using an actual boarding school, but making sure that the feel of it was evident everywhere. See the boy's hostel, very real. That's what I am talking about!!! Casting is beautiful. Except for that Lashe character. I don't fe

Badboys and Bridesmaids Movie Review

It's another story of Nollywood having a nice story and using mid directing, production and acting water it down. Everyone just slept on this movie. The actors  The directors. Everybody. At some point, background noise from the movie in one or two scenes wanted to finish my ears. The badboys didn't badboy oooo. Wo, you can watch it Sha just for watching sakes.

Slum King Movie Review

I saw the trailer and I was gobsmacked, like "ha, this is going to be amazing ooo". I saw Tobi Bakare, Hermes, Olarotimi Fakunle, Gideon Okeke and Bolaji Ogunmola, and I thought for a second that this series would make sense. Dem suppose bite the producer (who actually produced Shanty Town), the director (who directed Wura series) and the script writer. Very shallow storyline. Directing is worse I have seen in a long time. No character development. Some Acting be like say make I slap the actors. Even Tobi didn't deliver at all. I am stopping at episode 3 as I am not intrigued to continue. The only reason I might want to continue is just to see where it all ends.

Big Love Movie Review

While this movie tried not to be your regular Nollywood Romantic movie, I still got annoyed at some small small mistakes that I saw. Inkblot is too big for some mistakes that were present in this movie. Overall, Big Love is nice. It's a movie that would take you through a rollercoaster of emotions. The beginning was quite not it.  Most of the dialogues got me rolling my eyes, like warahell. Casting was great. Storyline was amazing Directing wasn't coordinated. There were scenes that looked rushed and scattered. PS - VJ Adams should just leave Bimbo for Timini. Their chemistry is mind-blowing. Timini had grown as an actor. And it's great to see. Aunty Shaffy is great, as always. Overall, I'd give it an 8/10.

Ijogbon Movie Review

Ahn ahn, wait now??? How long did he run wey nightfall meet him still running? Ki lo de? It's not realistic jor. There was no point he even looked back to see if the person chasing him was following him? Abegi. The opening scenes were just anyhow. Too anyhow.  That woman telling Tales by Campfire light was unnecessary.  Anyway, Ijogbon is that imperfect movie that you just want to watch anyway. It's not perfect but it's there. They need to stop casting this BBN Dorathy at this point. She is a terrible actress. Sam Dede speaking Yoruba is Sweet. That man is a very dynamic actor. He is so good at this acting thing. It's just like Kunle Afolayan didn't know what to do with his money and time.  Overall,  it's 4/10 for me.

She Must Be Obeyed Movie Review

I don't understand Funke Akindele's obsession with the music industry Sha. She is always trying to project the industry one way or the other - we have Industreet already. On this new one Sha, I don't know how to feel about it.  This storyline is great. The life of a Celebrity musician behind the camera and in front of the camera. But the directing get as e be. The movie just dey anyhow. But the acting from some cast made up for the 'anyhowness'. Bishop (Okon) was amazing. Lateef was great. Gayness doesn't fit Akah. He shouldn't try it again. Vee tried small. I don't understand what Ali Nuhu was acting. Lizzy Jay sef dey vex person. The entire Rachael Okonkwo family weren't it at all. Mama Gee no try at all. Don't give her a drunk role again. Nancy Isime was Nancy Isime, Just there. Shaffy Bello was great as always. In all, I will give it a 4/10.

The Blue Double Tick

I sent you an epistle. A long ass paragraph, Telling, sharing, opening up, On how much I love, How i want you, How I might have made terrible mistakes in the past with other men, How I would love to give love with you a chance. I sent you a heart emoji, And a kiss emoji And another love emoji, Making it 3 emojis, Because they say thrice is the charm. I sent you a final sentence, That came in form of a question, Seven Words, Twenty Three letters, Would You Love To Have Me Now? It was my turn to wait patiently for you to read my message and reply me. I know I had kept you waiting, Far too Long than I should have, I remember the many nights you would send me messages, Telling, sharing, opening up, On how you much you love me, How much you want me, How I make other girl looks like they weren't good enough for you. And then you would wait anxiously for me to open and reply them, But just like your tick took forever to change into the Blue Double Tick when you message me, Tonight, my t

The Black Book Movie Review

Chaos is what you get when you try to film movies like Hollywood without doing your homework well.  That kidnapping scene is one of the most chaotic and unorganized crime scenes ever. Like WTH!! Moving on, we have RMD and Olumide bonding that didn't give the vibes they were gunning for. Then the scene where Sam Dede called Bimbo Akintola on the phone asking who he should kill. Please what's the job of the two police men that were present at the scene? What's their work? Are they aesthetics? I expected them to go close to her immediately they realized she was communicating with the kidnappers. No, they stood like they were visitors checking family album. Mchew. It was after the conversation has ended that the soldier guy came to stand in front of her - like a mannequin.  Another thing, choice of soundtrack was shitty. What's "omo mi Seun rere" doing in that beach scene. I am rolling my eyes. All those half half conversations that were flying up and down, na r

On Taylor Zakhar Perez, Nicholas Galitzine and the Red, White and Royal Blue Cakegate Saga

If you are homophobic, it is better you stop reading at this point. Thank you! Lol. It isn’t news that Prime’s new movie, Red White and Royal Blue movie, is currently making waves, bringing smiles to lovers’ faces and making people believe in love again – especially gay love. Arguably, we can say that the reason the movie caught that much fire and is currently the most watched movie on Prime, is because the book, which was written by Casey McQuiston by the way, was a huge sensation when it was published. I read the book (after I saw the movie first) and I also enjoyed every single bit of it. I didn’t want the story to end. Of course, the story of two male prominent public figures who fell in love despite tradition and distance, is a beautiful one to share and experience on the leaves of a book. But the actual reasons why a lot of fans (especially me) are rewatching the movie again and again, creating different versions of edits for the movie and requesting for a sequel, the

The One for Sarah Movie Review

I like that the movie made us feel like the three men were in love with her. That twist is grand. Nice casting. Lover boy Uzo is cute to watch. They need to stop casting My Crush, Daniel Etim as an abuser. This is the second movie I am seeing that. I don't like it. Overall, mildly recommended. Don't put your expectations high. Just watch for fun. Thanks.

DEVIL IN AGBADA MOVIE REVIEW

Don't bother. Waste of time, data and eyesight  Not recommended but you can go ahead if you want. Not suitable for kids under the age of 1.

Jagun Jagun Movie Review

Instead of you to go and watch on Netflix, you're here looking for review. 🤣🤣🤣 This movie is the movie of the year. Forget that it didn't drop in the cinema. This movie should carry all the AMVCA awards. What is this??? What is this delicious pot of soup? Haaaaa! Everything is complete in this movie. Everyone gave their best!! Every single soul!!! Omoooorrrr!  I am beyond impressed. Kindly look for a subtitle oooo if you're a non Yoruba person. Tenku. I will pick this movie over King of Thieves any day

The House of Secrets Movie Review

I don't know how I feel about this movie. Did I enjoy it? I don't know. Really, the feeling is indescribable. It was a there movie. Just there. The transition thing that happened when she was trying to regain normalcy took forever to happen. I feel like the scene where she ran outside and was trying to find her way in the midst of  the crowd wasn't necessary if she would still come back inside. Was it to show that there was actually no window where she thought she saw the couple through a window. I actually like what the director did with the storytelling thing. Making it looked like she was writing about other people, when in actual sense she was writing about her love story. The plot was cool.  I liked the old school thing. But why would Efe Irele wear one wig throughout her scenes. And a human hair at that. Human hair in the 90s. It's laughable. Wo, the military thing ate too. I like it. I like how the past and present was intertwined. It's cool. In all, I don&#

The Perfect Find Movie Review

For someone who has always found love in the arms of younger men, I can totally relate to this movie and I enjoyed every bit of it. On a serious note, younger men love the sweetest. As long as he doesn't see the age as a barrier, he expects you not to either. And when you don't, trust me, it's going to be a sweet sail. I love love.  And I love this movie. It's not your regular predictable Harlequin Romance. It's reality!!! I give it 9/10.

Inumber Number: Jozi Gold Movie Review

I often wonder why South Africa Wood (whatever name is called) is not rated like Nollywood. Like these people have banging storyline, sick actors who body their roles like mofedaku, they gave audience something to enjoy.  The acting is always top notch. There is no South African movie that I have seen that I don't rate 100/10. Is it  Baby Mamas?  Or Happiness is a Four Letter Word (before they ruined it with a second part). Or Seriously Single? The directors cast with their heart and not their head or private parts. They cast actors that can deliver and not actors that look good on camera. Take for instance the lady that played Brigadier in this movie (I am not beauty shaming) but if she was a Nigerian, trust me she no go smell Nollywood because she doesn't have the face. But in Nigeria, once you have the body and face, e finish, welcome to Nollywood. Anyway, the reason for the plenty talk is that this movie is sweeeeeeet! It is amazing. I really like it. It was unnecessarily

Ijakumo Movie Review

Whatever this movie was set to give, it didn't give.  Even the stripping is not giving. Why is the Sharon girl sex talking like she is doing spoken words???  I liked the babe in "Listening Ears", but I feel she is not 'mature' enough theatrically for this role. Wait, what I noticed was that Toyin and her crew didn't know there was a girl who looks like the Sharon girl in his church. A very crazy error that no director should make. If they had come in with this, maybe the finding out they were twin bla BLA BLA suspense would suspense well. But as the director or script writer were very myopic, the twin shii didn't hold water. If they had said or showed that they picked the Ugandan girl because she looked like the Nigerian girl in his church, e for make perfect sense. Seriously, I am miffed. The only thing that thrilled me was Kunle Remi and his lines. O mard gan. 🤣🤣🤣 "Emi mimo ni kin gbenu sohun". 🤣🤣🤣 "So, idi Uganda lo Fe baye mi j

Battle On Buka Street Movie Review

See ehn, I always say that I am all for movies with intriguing opening scenes. Opening scenes that would want you longing to see the next scene and the next scene and the next. BOBS's opening is lively and dope. The movie was interesting that I forgot to watch for a review. Funke Akindele did well and over well with this movie. Compared to Obara'm, you can actually feel the emotions of every character in this movie. The suspense was top notch. I nearly shit my pants when the youth came to search the hide out where Femi Jacob was hiding. Directing was perfect.  Story line was beautiful. The way the theme built from comedy to something serious and emotional needs to be taught in film schools. I give it to Tobi Makinde. I can smell his directorial skills all over this movie. Overall, I'd give it a 100/10. This movie brought out all the emotions I could feel in me. This is what a good movie does to you! How hard is it for these people to make a perfect movie like this?!!! I c

Obara'm Movie Review

I don't know if it's me, but everything just looked off at the beginning. Of course, I have a problem with Nancy playing a singing role, not with that her voice. It's high time Nollywood stop doing this "oh, let's cast so and so in this role because they will look good on screen". If it is a singing part, give it to a singing actress. Jeez. She was just bleating in my ears. Then the party scene, Everything just dey disorganized.  And what in the Bollywood is that choreographed dance in a club? This singing of lines is novel to Nollywood, and I understand but wo, the thing didn't enter ooo. What is that church scene? Jesus Christ! Light goes off, they run to put on the generator, the little girl start singing... What's the WOW element there?? At the burial, did they teach Nancy the song abi na their church song? Mchew. The choreography in this movie is not choreographying.  Miss me with all the song stuff. Asides that, maybe the movie would have been

On Her Terms Movie Review

I know I said I wasn't a fan of Rok movies, and that hasn't changed. But I watched this because it was a Royal Arts Academy's movie. Royal Arts Academy used to be oñe of the best movie houses in Nollywood but I don't know what changed. Regardless, they still have it and this movie shows that. Asides from the fact that sone scenes were overstretched and it began to look like an AMepic movie, I enjoyed it. Casting Frederick Leonard and Bimbo Ademoye as lead roles for this movie was a brilliant idea. I love their chemistry. So impressive. I am not even sure Peggy and Fred can have this kinda chemistry on set. 🤣🤣 I love Bimbo when she is not clowning her character too much. She didn't clown her tomboy character too much in this movie, and that made watching her interesting. The story line was a bit common and predictable. The other cast made me roll my eyes plenty times. The sound was terrible too, had to strain my ears to listen to their convos. Overall, I give it

The Clumsy Wife

When you were asked about your swollen right eye, you said you sleepwalked and hit your face against the wall. We all said sorry and asked you to get well soon. A few days after, it was your chin that was shifted to the side. In response, you blamed it again in your clumsiness and that you feel off the bed. You are a grown woman in her late 30's. This time, we had questions that we couldn't dare to ask you. Weeks later, you were limping and you assured us that it was your clumsiness that made you fall down the stairs. At this point, we faced our business and wished you all the best. 2 months later, you're lying in a golden casket, 6 feet under the ground.  The autopsy read that you died from a deep gash on your forehead, probably a hit from the bloody plank of wood that was found beside your corpse. At this point, you want to talk. You wanted to say it all. But it's too late. Your husband claimed you hit your head on the plank, and we all believed him because you told u

A Lot Like Love Movie Review

This review is also by demand. First off, the chemistry between that Rahama babe and Ibrahim Suleiman wasn't chemistryimg jare. It looks so forced. Then the scene where they were traveling and we attacked by guns men, like how in God's name is it possible for the security dude to stand and watch? Like how? Survival instincts tells you to hide immediately. Oga still stood to watch as per na movie na. Mchew. Ose Lara Croft, you were hit with a gun in your stomach, you fainted, woke up and stood like nothing happened. Ose!!!! Iron woman. Mchew. So, minutes later when Sophia joins her, she is still well dressed. You people should try and be making these movies relatable. Your husband has been abducted, yet your gele still dey, your jewelry still intact, make up is still looking on point. Seriously, Sophia didn't handle that bedroom scene where Rahama was on call with the kidnappers. Couldn't she read the room? I felt like slapping her to shut up. The director messed up wi

Eri Ife Mi Movie Review

I am not a fan of Rok movies. Never have and never would be. No offense to Mary Njoku and get team but they produce boogie mediocre movies, with nice storylines and poor directing. But I am doing this review  because a good friend asked me to. So, here it goes; I love the opening scene. I am a sucker for amazing opening scenes, and I love this one. Hol up!!! I dey begin dey vex ooo. What's with that annoying grandma voice in scene 2?  Na, I won't take this archaic old people talking sound. It's annoying.  Old people talk well. Jeez. Okay, she is panicking, but why the exaggerated long coughing like someone who is asthmatic. You can have a panic attack and not be like this.  So, you want to tell me that nothing happened to that card since all of those years? No now. Not even a tear. No discoloration. No bending. Cockroach didn't pee on it. Haba now.... After all those years. Back to the grandma. Was she always that old? She was the same from the flashback scene and the p

Tiger's Tail Movie Review

Tiger, Poison, Snake, what's all that? (rolls eyes a gazillion times) I can't with movies with plenty sub plots. It is annoying. This movie just has scattered written all over it. Why is Zubby repeating lines from another movie? "Even if una no get respect, una suppose get fear now". Said it in Passport and now here. Please. An actor should be dynamic not static.  Actually, the face off scene was nice, but there is no reason it should be turned into a full episode. 🤣🤣🤣 There was a continuity problem when Debo died. That take where Tiger held Nosa rex happened twice. One with toothpick in tiger's mouth, the other without. Nollywood Continuity, no Kee us now 🤣🤣🤣 Kelechi Udegbe did well. His Yoruba sweet me. Adeoluwa Akintoba (Debo) did well  too. I saw him in Sista too and he is good. Tacha played her part well even though she still needs training. Overall, it's a beautiful story line. The directing tried but some scenes were too long. At the beginning,

Air Movie Review

When you hear someone say this movie is "that" movie, Air is "that" movie for me. Yes, I agree that the begining was laid back, but as a movie buff who knows the difference between laid back and lazy in movie production, I'd say the laid back opening of this movie is not lazy at all. For your sake, you need to follow the laid back opening up until the drama really started. For a movie that is a biography, this movie did a lot, it educated me, it entertained me and inspired me. Do you know that after watching the movie, I am on Google searching everything about the legend Michael Jordan. I am even sure that a lot of you talk "Air Jordan" shoes without knowing how it came to live. Trust me, even if you read anything about him and his start in his basketball career, it can't beat watching it come live on the TV. This movie is phenomenal "in Charles Okocha's voice". The casting was on point. I couldn't think of anyone playing Delori

Passport Movie Review

The opening was great. Jim Iyke was killing it. But those two friends of his are just not it for me. That Mighty girl should tone down her nonsense agbero acting. It's annoying to watch. Then, what is with the dragging of scenes. I am getting bored at the meeting scene. Zubby doesn't do it for me, Sha. I dunno about you people oooooo. This movie has no business getting in the cinema in the first place. It should have stayed at that Alaba movies category. What's with Mercy Johnson and the  the insistent mention of Davido. The writer should be flogged. Dafuq Everything about this movie no follow.  Omoooorrrr, that movie is God forbid. I rate it 1/10

Sista Movie Review

The opening scene did me in. I read somewhere that the first few 5 minutes of a movie determines if it is worth it.  Trust me, Sista movie hooked me in less than 5 minutes. I loved the straight to the point opening. No show of the Third Mainland Bridge. No lazy show of Lagos traffic. Nothing. Also, the past/present sequence made crazy sense.  Seeing Kehinde Bankole in that role is refreshing, it's not what she is used to, but she did well. Chimezie was quite not in character, or maybe he didn't bond with Ade Herself. I don't know. He is better than what I saw him act here. As usual Aunty Ronke Oshodi Oke gave it her all. This Tope Owokoniran babe tried with her Hausa accent. I love it!!! I think this is the best of her I have seen so far. I'd say this is a movie Aunty Biodun Stephen put her everything to make. This is a beautiful work of art. I love every piece of it. The story line is dope. Directing is flawless. The fun part was that even though It was predictable f

Love In a Pandemic Movie Review

The only good thing about this movie is this cute logo... Everything else.... Crap. It's a 2/10 for effort for me.

Ile Owo Movie Review

Ile Owo is out on Netflix and everyone wants to see it. Before you do, read this article first. So, for a movie to try and bring in elements of the metaphysical so strong and scary into a movie in this age and time, I give it to this movie. It got me scared. The props didn't help matters. Darthcoal needs to pay the props guy some more. Directing was not balanced. Great in some scenes, annoying in others. I have been wanting to see Darthcoal's movies for a while, and this didn't do justice for me. The theme/storyline is quite nice. Very nice... The execution wasn't great. The dialogue too was not up to par. So many missing lines. Let's talk about acting now. Give Kiekie her flowers anyday everyday. Her wittiness is top notch.  The Busola character is so annoying. She is a terrible actor. She preempted the entire movie. It was like she couldn't care how she acted in the initial scenes, as she didn't see them as intense as the last few scenes. So, she just di

Dead Men Send No Messages

That I got a grand homecoming when I got back home was an understatement of the century. My mother screamed when she saw me. You needed to see the excitement in her eyes. I was her only daughter who she hadn't seen in years, the reasons, she was slightly a part of, hence she couldn't stop showing how much she has missed me. If she had not decided to join my father in whisking me away in marriage, like some loan collateral, I would probably be unmarried but In her house, watching the sun set with her as we joyfully prepare dinner for the family. My father on the other hand showed a little bit of enthusiasm seeing me. I saw that beyond the joyful facade he had on as a cute mask, a lot of questions concerning my homecoming was eating him up. "Hurry kids, let's go make your sister her favorite meal.", My mother hurried my younger siblings and nephews out of the living room to the kitchen. Every one had a specific chore to do for dinner and they set to it immediately

THE WILDFLOWER MOVIE REVIEW.

Think of The Wait and how it made you feel. How it brought things you have ever seen, heard of or experienced right to you, that is exactly how you would feel with this movie.  This is a movie that is a must watch if you are a mother, an elder sister, if you are connected to a female one way or the other, this movie is for you. Trust Aunty Biodun Stephen to always give you real life and realistic themes and plots. Hence the plot of this movie is so close to home that I could remember some scenarios. But the movie was dragged at so many points. If you are looking for a movie that would kick you in the punch at once, this is not that movie. This is the movie that you have take your time to go through the prolonged actions and scenes, which was caused by some actors, who unfortunately were key players. Anyway, overall, I'd give it an 8/10. Plot is cool. Directing is cool. Delivery wasn't perfect for a lot to cast, even the top ones. Everyone was just at their relaxed mood, which

A Simple Lie Movie Review

The opening scene of this movie is dope. And they actually used a real life party scene as against playing song over a party scene. That's some big win for Nollywood movies. I love this upgrade  The music of the party scene still playing in Bisola room as Kiekie was dialing her number is crap. And who leaves a tray of cup s and all that on a bed? It ain't realistic. Anyway, the plot is cool. Realistic acting, I give it to them. Kiekie is a natural. Bisola is amazing as always. Bolaji Ogunmola should be given more of these classy woman role. She doesn't do well when she is suffering and what not. Emmanuel is great too.  This meetup to reveal secret plot with plenty twists and secrets uncovering plot is so outdated. We shouldn't be doing this anymore. Aunty Biodun should not take us back to those days. Better days, better movies are ahead.  I would pardon this because I actually really enjoyed the movie. I couldn't press forward. I didn't want to miss any line

Gangs of Lagos Review

It is no longer news that the much awaited Jade Osiberu's movie "Gangs of Lagos" is out finally! For real, I can say categorically that I was one of the few people who couldn't wait to set their gaze on this cinematic piece that promised so much. Of course, It's Jade now. The Jade of "Isoken", "Sugar Rush", "Gidi Up", the recent "The Trade" and our adrenaline pumping star movie of the year "Brotherhood". It is the Jade that always gives us blockbuster movies back to back, hence I wasn't expecting anything below par. When the thriller dropped, the movie showed so much prospect, especially with the amazing effects and fight scenes. Not to forget to mention the amazing cast. We have the likes of Tobi Bakre, Susu Wellington, Chike, Tayo Faniyan, and Bimbo Ademoye. The movie promised to be lit, So, imagine my joy when I got a notification that it was dropping on Prime Video. I was elated to say the least. I was pum
