FIFA Bans Ivory Coast Footballer Emmanuel Eboué.

FIFA , the world ’s football governing body has banned Ivory Coast and Sunderland defender Emmanuel Eboué for one year . FIFA passed the judgement on the former Arsenal defender this morning for refusing to pay his agent for agent fees owed .

This means he won ’t be able to play football for 360 days effective from this morning until the fee is completely paid . The ban will be lifted once he pays up .

Read FIFA ’ s full statement below :
” Emmanuel Eboué , who has represented Côte d ’ Ivoire and is currently registered for the English club Sunderland A . F . C . , is to serve a ban on taking part in any football -related activity that will last for one year or until he pays the total outstanding amount owed to his former agent if this occurs before the one- year ban has elapsed .

” The origins of the case involve a decision passed by the single judge of the FIFA Players ’ Status Committee in July 2013 regarding a contractual dispute according to which Mr Eboué was ordered to pay the players ’ agent Mr Sébastien Boisseau an amount owed to him based on the representation agreement between the two parties.

The decision was taken on the basis of the FIFA Players ’ Agents Regulations in force at the time (2008 edition).

” On 9 September 2014 , the FIFA Disciplinary Committee decided to sanction Mr Eboué with a fine of CHF 30 , 000 for failing to comply with the decision of the single judge of the Players ’ Status Committee on the basis of art. 64 of the FIFA Disciplinary Code . The player was also granted a final period of grace of 120 days to settle his debt , upon failure of which the creditor – Mr Boisseau – would be entitled to request that a one -year ban on taking part in any football -related activity be imposed on Mr Eboué . ”

Mr Eboué appealed to CAS against the FIFA Disciplinary Committee ’ s decision, but the appeal was dismissed and the decision of the Disciplinary Committee confirmed in full.

” Following the expiry of the final deadline granted , Mr Boisseau requested that the one -year ban be imposed on Mr Eboué in accordance with the decision of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee . The relevant parties, including The Football Association which has been requested to implement said ban , have been informed accordingly . ”

Sista Movie Review

The opening scene did me in. I read somewhere that the first few 5 minutes of a movie determines if it is worth it.  Trust me, Sista movie hooked me in less than 5 minutes. I loved the straight to the point opening. No show of the Third Mainland Bridge. No lazy show of Lagos traffic. Nothing. Also, the past/present sequence made crazy sense.  Seeing Kehinde Bankole in that role is refreshing, it's not what she is used to, but she did well. Chimezie was quite not in character, or maybe he didn't bond with Ade Herself. I don't know. He is better than what I saw him act here. As usual Aunty Ronke Oshodi Oke gave it her all. This Tope Owokoniran babe tried with her Hausa accent. I love it!!! I think this is the best of her I have seen so far. I'd say this is a movie Aunty Biodun Stephen put her everything to make. This is a beautiful work of art. I love every piece of it. The story line is dope. Directing is flawless. The fun part was that even though It was predictable f...

Ijakumo Movie Review

Whatever this movie was set to give, it didn't give.  Even the stripping is not giving. Why is the Sharon girl sex talking like she is doing spoken words???  I liked the babe in "Listening Ears", but I feel she is not 'mature' enough theatrically for this role. Wait, what I noticed was that Toyin and her crew didn't know there was a girl who looks like the Sharon girl in his church. A very crazy error that no director should make. If they had come in with this, maybe the finding out they were twin bla BLA BLA suspense would suspense well. But as the director or script writer were very myopic, the twin shii didn't hold water. If they had said or showed that they picked the Ugandan girl because she looked like the Nigerian girl in his church, e for make perfect sense. Seriously, I am miffed. The only thing that thrilled me was Kunle Remi and his lines. O mard gan. 🤣🤣🤣 "Emi mimo ni kin gbenu sohun". 🤣🤣🤣 "So, idi Uganda lo Fe baye mi j...

FLAWS AND DENTS (Fiction)

FLAWS AND DENTS "Will you marry me? " he asked,  on a bent knee, a wide grin spread across his mouth. Fiona stopped sipping her margarita, her hand stuck on her straw as I gaze at him in shock. He gazed back at her , waiting earnestly for her response. She bent her head as tears welled up in her eyes. One, two they dropped and before she knew it,  the floodgates opened. Her shoulders shook as the tears came cascading down her face. He quickly stood from where he knelt and rushed to her side. "Honey,  why the tears?  Talk to me,  why are you crying?  You know you can talk to me about anything?  What did I do wrong? " He begged as he held her face and tried to wipe her face with his handkerchief. "Baby.... " She started as another bout of tears took over her. "Honey,  these tears are killing me.  I can't stand seeing you like this anymore. Please talk to me,  I beg of you. " She tried to steady her whirling emotions as ...
