Former Sunderland Forward, Adam Johnson Bags 6- year Jail Term For Sexual Activity With Underage Girl.

Former Manchester City, Sunderland and England forward, Adam Johnson
has been handed a six-year jail term after he was found guilty of engaging in sexual activities with a 15-year-old.

Johnson, whose contract was terminated by Sunderland following his guilty
plea, ran into court to avoid the media scrum and then listened to a
statement from the victim in which she detailed the impact the case has had
on her personal life and schoolwork.

The prosecution also highlighted the way Johnson’s supporters had continued
to soil the image of the victim on social media.

Johnson’s lawyer, psychologist Dr Philip Hopley claimed Johnson was
“socially and psychologically immature” for his age and his physical
development growing up “was somewhat retarded”.

Dr Hopley also explained how Johnson was unable to discuss the crimes he
had committed due to the shame he felt, with the footballer suggesting
“being in prison would offer some relief. I just want to let people I have
hurt get on with their lives”.

Johnson, Dr Hopley said, also told him “explicit messaging was common
practice among his fellow footballers”.

On his final verdict, Judge Jonathan Rose said: “All of this is entirely your
own responsibility and your own fault.

“She had only just turned 15 when you began to groom her…because you
found her sexually attractive even though you knew her to be just 15.

“Your standing and your offending are the only reason this child has
suffered abuse.”

Johnson, who showed no emotion when the verdict was delivered, has signed
the sex offender’s register and has a restraining order placed on him
against the victim and he must also pay £50,000 prosecution costs.

Sista Movie Review

The opening scene did me in. I read somewhere that the first few 5 minutes of a movie determines if it is worth it.  Trust me, Sista movie hooked me in less than 5 minutes. I loved the straight to the point opening. No show of the Third Mainland Bridge. No lazy show of Lagos traffic. Nothing. Also, the past/present sequence made crazy sense.  Seeing Kehinde Bankole in that role is refreshing, it's not what she is used to, but she did well. Chimezie was quite not in character, or maybe he didn't bond with Ade Herself. I don't know. He is better than what I saw him act here. As usual Aunty Ronke Oshodi Oke gave it her all. This Tope Owokoniran babe tried with her Hausa accent. I love it!!! I think this is the best of her I have seen so far. I'd say this is a movie Aunty Biodun Stephen put her everything to make. This is a beautiful work of art. I love every piece of it. The story line is dope. Directing is flawless. The fun part was that even though It was predictable f...

Ijakumo Movie Review

Whatever this movie was set to give, it didn't give.  Even the stripping is not giving. Why is the Sharon girl sex talking like she is doing spoken words???  I liked the babe in "Listening Ears", but I feel she is not 'mature' enough theatrically for this role. Wait, what I noticed was that Toyin and her crew didn't know there was a girl who looks like the Sharon girl in his church. A very crazy error that no director should make. If they had come in with this, maybe the finding out they were twin bla BLA BLA suspense would suspense well. But as the director or script writer were very myopic, the twin shii didn't hold water. If they had said or showed that they picked the Ugandan girl because she looked like the Nigerian girl in his church, e for make perfect sense. Seriously, I am miffed. The only thing that thrilled me was Kunle Remi and his lines. O mard gan. 🤣🤣🤣 "Emi mimo ni kin gbenu sohun". 🤣🤣🤣 "So, idi Uganda lo Fe baye mi j...

The Black Book Movie Review

Chaos is what you get when you try to film movies like Hollywood without doing your homework well.  That kidnapping scene is one of the most chaotic and unorganized crime scenes ever. Like WTH!! Moving on, we have RMD and Olumide bonding that didn't give the vibes they were gunning for. Then the scene where Sam Dede called Bimbo Akintola on the phone asking who he should kill. Please what's the job of the two police men that were present at the scene? What's their work? Are they aesthetics? I expected them to go close to her immediately they realized she was communicating with the kidnappers. No, they stood like they were visitors checking family album. Mchew. It was after the conversation has ended that the soldier guy came to stand in front of her - like a mannequin.  Another thing, choice of soundtrack was shitty. What's "omo mi Seun rere" doing in that beach scene. I am rolling my eyes. All those half half conversations that were flying up and down, na r...
