Army offers huge cash reward for news of abducted colonel.

Anyone who can provide any information that could lead to the rescue of the abducted army colonel, Samaila Inusa has been promised a N1 million reward.


The reward was announced by the Nigeria army, which promised also to adequately protect anyone who provides useful information.


A spokesperson for the First Division of the Nigerian army, Colonel Usman Abdul, who announced the award, said that any such tip-off would be treated with the utmost confidentiality.


Colonel Abdul announced the cash-for-information offer to journalists on Monday morning, upping the bounty to N1 million after an initial promise of a N500,000 cash reward for information.
