Northern youths blast Tinubu over attack on Kachikwu.

Based on what the National Leader of APC, Bola Tinubu said about the Minister of State For Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu, Northern youths under the auspices of Arewa Intergrity Youth Forum (AIYF) have blasted Bola Tinubu.

Tinubu expressed his dissatisfaction with the recent statement made by the minister who said that he was not a magician who could end the pertol scarcity “with a magic wand”.

However, Northern youths expressed support for Kachikwu and the ongoing reforms in the oil sector while addressing newsmen in Abuja on Monday, March 28.

Mallam Ibrahim Abubakar, the coordinator of the group, reminded Tinubu that he had earlier advised Nigerians to be patient with the government as it is trying to undo damage caused by the previous administration.

“We are today bewildered at the manner of double talk a revered leader in the calibre of Tinubu could engage himself, not minding his stand and position in the polity. Has he so soon forgotten that he advised Nigerians to be patient with this government because the previous administration had caused so much damage which had to be cleared? What has changed soon?” he wondered.

According to the group, Nigerians understand the current situation in the supply and distribution of fuel, therefore, they do not stage protests as it was done in the past.

The youth warned Tinubu to steer clear of the petroleum sector as all his actions show that he intends to discredit the good works of Kachikwu. The group alleged that the APC chieftain wants to instigate the minister’s sack thereby making way for him to plant a stooge to continue in the looting regime.

“Kachikwu has brought sanity into the oil sector, which is what is first needed to engineer development in any sector particularly that the present administration inherited a messy economy whose only cell is oil revenue,” the group said.

Sista Movie Review

The opening scene did me in. I read somewhere that the first few 5 minutes of a movie determines if it is worth it.  Trust me, Sista movie hooked me in less than 5 minutes. I loved the straight to the point opening. No show of the Third Mainland Bridge. No lazy show of Lagos traffic. Nothing. Also, the past/present sequence made crazy sense.  Seeing Kehinde Bankole in that role is refreshing, it's not what she is used to, but she did well. Chimezie was quite not in character, or maybe he didn't bond with Ade Herself. I don't know. He is better than what I saw him act here. As usual Aunty Ronke Oshodi Oke gave it her all. This Tope Owokoniran babe tried with her Hausa accent. I love it!!! I think this is the best of her I have seen so far. I'd say this is a movie Aunty Biodun Stephen put her everything to make. This is a beautiful work of art. I love every piece of it. The story line is dope. Directing is flawless. The fun part was that even though It was predictable f...

Ijakumo Movie Review

Whatever this movie was set to give, it didn't give.  Even the stripping is not giving. Why is the Sharon girl sex talking like she is doing spoken words???  I liked the babe in "Listening Ears", but I feel she is not 'mature' enough theatrically for this role. Wait, what I noticed was that Toyin and her crew didn't know there was a girl who looks like the Sharon girl in his church. A very crazy error that no director should make. If they had come in with this, maybe the finding out they were twin bla BLA BLA suspense would suspense well. But as the director or script writer were very myopic, the twin shii didn't hold water. If they had said or showed that they picked the Ugandan girl because she looked like the Nigerian girl in his church, e for make perfect sense. Seriously, I am miffed. The only thing that thrilled me was Kunle Remi and his lines. O mard gan. 🤣🤣🤣 "Emi mimo ni kin gbenu sohun". 🤣🤣🤣 "So, idi Uganda lo Fe baye mi j...

The Black Book Movie Review

Chaos is what you get when you try to film movies like Hollywood without doing your homework well.  That kidnapping scene is one of the most chaotic and unorganized crime scenes ever. Like WTH!! Moving on, we have RMD and Olumide bonding that didn't give the vibes they were gunning for. Then the scene where Sam Dede called Bimbo Akintola on the phone asking who he should kill. Please what's the job of the two police men that were present at the scene? What's their work? Are they aesthetics? I expected them to go close to her immediately they realized she was communicating with the kidnappers. No, they stood like they were visitors checking family album. Mchew. It was after the conversation has ended that the soldier guy came to stand in front of her - like a mannequin.  Another thing, choice of soundtrack was shitty. What's "omo mi Seun rere" doing in that beach scene. I am rolling my eyes. All those half half conversations that were flying up and down, na r...
