In respect to the strings of attack on innocent citizens by Fulani herdsmen, the Federal Government is making plans to organise a peace talk between farmers and Fulani herdsmen in the country.
This was made known in a statement released by Osiagbove Ehisienmen, the Press Secretary to the Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, yesterday March 23.
The dialogue would involve stakeholders from different umbrella groups of herders, farmers, state government and NGOs and it is to be attended by civil society groups, journalists, government agencies, professional bodies and humanitarian institution.
The proposed talk would give room for various stakeholders to share ideas and provide answers to all questions raised during the peace talk.

trend of avoidable clashes between herdsmen
and farmers in some parts of the country, the
Federal Government is finalising plans to call for
a town hall dialogue.
”The dialogue will involve critical stakeholders
at a date to be announced.”
